Recent Developments in Azaborinine Chemistry
Guillaume Bélanger-Chabot, Holger Braunschweig, Dipak Kumar Roy
Recent years have witnessed rapid advances in the field of BN/CC isosterism, particularly in the case of azaborinines. Examples of each isomer have now been synthesized and characterized. This review provides a survey of the latest methods for the synthesis of new monocyclic B,N heterocycles, their reactivities, and potential applications in biomedical and materials science. The advances in the field of BN/CC isosterism in azaborinines, which have led to the synthesis of new monocyclic B,N heterocycles, are reviewed and the reactivities and potential applications of these compounds are surveyed.
