Brønsted acid sites partially confined at the intercept of micro‐ and mesopores in two‐dimensional MFI zeolite nanosheets are effective for C=C bond‐coupling and ring‐closure reactions that transform light aldehydes into aromatics. In their Communication (DOI: 10.1002/anie.201803929), Y.‐H. Chin et al. establish the roles of these sites and their environment in catalytic aromatization, and of interlamellar mesopores in efficient transport and removal of products.
