The Front Cover shows a chloride ion coordinated by two open, positively charged aluminium/nitrogen cages through six N--H--Cl bridges. This molecular cation contains two new seco-norcubane like Al3N4 entities which have hydridic (partly negatively charged) and protic (partly positively charged) hydrogen atoms in close proximity. The protic hydrogen atoms are engaged in hydrogen bonding and thus seem to be hindered from hydrogen evolution by combination with the hydridic hydrogen atoms. Details are discussed in the article by Michael Veith et al. on page 1233 ff.
