Join us every week at 9am BST / 8am GMT! Over a series of short live event training sessions encouraging feedback and hands-on learning, our course will take you through the five stages of academic paper writing, publishing, and impact.

Join us at 9am BST/8am GMT on May 16th for the first episode in this series – ‘Motivations: Why publish at all?

As a researcher, your motivations for publishing articles are quite different from those of editors and peer reviewers. Understanding what your goals and drivers are is key for helping you become effective. But this is not all. Who are your readers? How can you engage your audience and how can you pitch your work in order to publish in high-impact (or any) journals? We will discuss this – and much more – in our introductory session at 9am BST / 8am GMT.

Research Square is a multidisciplinary preprint and author services platform. You can share your work early in the form of a preprint, gain feedback from the community, and use our tools and services to improve your paper. You can also learn about breakthroughs in your field and find potential collaborators. We will show you why this is an important career move, and can help with your networking skills.
