In-Situ Observation of Phase Separation During Growth of Cs2LiLaBr6:Ce Crystals Using Energy-Resolved Neutron Imaging

This study demonstrates the use of a nondestructive technique, namely, energy-resolved neutron imaging, for in situ diagnostic of crystal growth. This technique allows real-time visualization of the melt-growth process, enabling direct measurements of various growth parameters crucial for process optimization. The dynamics of phase separation within the melt is studied in situ during growth of Cs2LiLaBr6:Ce crystals.
