Synthesis, Structure, and Luminescence of Copper(I) Halide Complexes of Chiral Bis(phosphines)

Chiral bis(phospholanes) acted as chelates in luminescent [Cu(i-Pr-DuPhos)(X)]2 (X = I, Br, Cl, F) and as bridging ligands in [Cu(Me-FerroLANE)(I)]2, while both coordination modes were observed for bis(phosphetane) in Cu5I5(Et-FerroTANE)3. The t-Bu-Josiphos complexes Cu(CyPF-t-Bu)(I) and Cu(PPF-t-Bu)(I) were three-coordinate monomers.
