Holography: Batch Fabrication of Metasurface Holograms Enabled by Plasmonic Cavity Lithography (Advanced Optical Materials 21/2017)

To raise the fabrication efficiency of optical metasurfaces, a batch processing method by plasmonic cavity lithography is presented by Xiangang Luo and co-workers in article number 1700429. The plasmonic cavity can amplify and modulate the electric filed components of evanescent waves to improve imaging performance. The proposed approach is well supported by successful experimental results of the fabricated sample and may find potential applications in the large-area fabrication of metasurface functional devices.
