The [small beta]-form of 4-(3-cyano-5-tertbutyl-phenyl)-3H-1,2,3,5-diselenadiazol-3-yl contains chains of monomeric radicals with -C[triple bond, length as m-dash]N[three dots, centered]Se as the shortest contacts. Two other structures with high Z[prime or minute] (3 and 6) are also reported and discussed.
