Evolution of manganese-calcium cluster structures based on nitrogen and oxygen donor ligands

Starting from the basic bidentate ligand H-HMP structures of manganese calcium complexes were produced, with three revealing a common Ca₂Mn₂O₆ core but with subtly different packing arrangements. A "wheel and axle" like structure was produced in the final case.
