Construction of Highly Porous Pillared Metal–Organic Frameworks: Rational Synthesis, Structure, and Gas Sorption Properties

A new proposal to build a pillared-layer framework based on the pyridyldicarboxylate ligands was proposed; three pillared-layer MOFs with highly porous volume were successfully synthesized, which exhibit high selectivity for C2H4 and CO2 over CH4 gases.
