Batteries: Oxygen Vacancies Evoked Blue TiO2(B) Nanobelts with Efficiency Enhancement in Sodium Storage Behaviors (Adv. Funct. Mater. 27/2017)
Christopher W. Foster, Xiaoqing Qiu, Zhiying Ding, Yan Zhang, Xiaobo Ji, Craig E. Banks
In article number 1700856, Xiaobo Ji and co-workers propose oxygen-vacancies-(OVs)-evoked blue TiO2(B) nanobelts as a superior anode for sodium-ion batteries. The anode feaures remarkable sodium storage behavior and marvelous long-term cyclability, owing to promoted electrochemical kinetics stimulated by OVs and shortened Na+ diffusion length due to the unique nanotubes/nanobelts morphology.
