Our back cover features in vivo images of fluorescent T cells transferred from Tlux mice into B6D2F1 mice to induce an acute alloresponse. Alongside T cell transfer, mice were treated with the AhR ligand, TCDD (bottom images), or with vehicle (top images). Bioluminescence was measured in the whole mouse (left images) and in the excised intestines (right images) four days post-treatment. This image is from Ehrlich et al. (pp. 1989–2001) in which the authors investigate early changes induced by treatment with AhR ligands that underlie Tr1-cell differentiation. Increased bioluminescence in the TCDD-treated mouse was associated with increased migration of AhR-Tr1 cells to the intestines. This image has been digitally altered for the cover.
