Dual-functional selenium nanoparticles bind to and inhibit amyloid [small beta] fiber formation in Alzheimer's disease

LPFFD/TGN modified SeNPs could cross the BBB and selectively bind to A[small beta] species. This binding might disrupted A[small beta]40 nucleation, and finally decrease A[small beta]40 fibrillation and their corresponding neurotoxicity in PC12 cells.
