Obituary of Chris Brand (1st June 1943–28th May, 2017)

Chris Brand (1st June 1943–28th May 2017) was a differential psychologist who kept the flame of individual differences flying throughout the 1980s. His work promoted mental speed, general intelligence, personality, and an understanding of genetic factors influencing these properties when it was extremely unfashionable to do so. Chris left full time academia in 1997, but continued to be a commentator on many topics in the field for a further 20years before his death.
