The enantioselective recognition of a chiral perylenediimide (PDI) molecule by chiral supramolecular nanofibers based on a naphthalenediimide (NDI) derivative is described by T. Kawai, T. Nakashima, and co-workers in their Communication on page 15053 ff. An NDI assembly with right-handed helicity selectively recognizes bichromophoric PDI derivatives with a counterclockwise arrangement.
