The first mixed-spin diamond system Cu2FePO4F4(H2O)4 (S1 = 1/2, S2 = 5/2) has been experimentally realized. Magnetic susceptibility, Mössbauer and heat capacity results indicate a slightly canted antiferromagnetic order at 12 K along with a possible phase transition at 3 K due to frustrated geometry of the diamond chain. Furthermore, a noncollinear magnetic structure is suggested in this system.
