Cover Feature: State of the Art of Pharmaceutical Solid Forms: from Crystal Property Issues to Nanocrystals Formulation (ChemMedChem 1/2019)
Abstract
The Cover Feature highlights the importance of drug solid‐state properties for optimized pharmaceutical activity in terms of ex‐ and in vivo stability prior to reaching the targeted cell. For instance, whatever the administration route (e.g., enteral, parenteral), stabilized nanocrystals efficiently cross the extracellular matrix to the cancer cell through its membrane.
