Parity‐Time Symmetry: Electrically Injected Parity Time–Symmetric Single Transverse–Mode Lasers (Laser Photonics Rev. 13(1)/2019)

By carefully manipulating the gain and loss in PT symmetry waveguides, Wei Guo and co‐workers achieve electrically injected counter‐intuitive broad‐area lasers with single transverse mode emissions. This potential breakthrough research is described in article number 1800154 and is expected to have large impact on high‐power diode lasers.
