Thermal rectification at the bimaterial nanocontact interface

Thermal rectification at the bimaterial nanocontact interface
Zhen-Qiang Ye, Bing-Yang Cao
We experimentally designed and validated the thermal rectification at the nanoscale bimaterial interface, i.e. polyamide (PA) and silicon (Si) nanowires in contact with each other, of which the rectification ratio measured by a high-precision experiment reached 4% with an uncertainty of <1%.
