Pyridine-functionalized Mn-Anderson hybrid polyoxometalates are self-assembled into coordination polymers linked by transition metal ions. Analysis of the resulting solid-state structures leads to design considerations for controlled synthesis of metal−organic frameworks where hybrid polyoxometalates are integral structural components.
