Zeolite LTL without crown ether shows large aspect ratio with small nucleation domains compared with the zeolite LTL including crown ether. Atomic coordinates analyzed by Rietveld refinement of X-ray diffraction data indicate that redistribution of potassium cation in the center of the pore cavity due to strong interaction between crown ether and potassium cation induced different crystal nucleation and growth behavior.
