Predicting the Nucleation Induction Time Based on Preferred Intermolecular Interactions

Predicting the Nucleation Induction Time Based on Preferred Intermolecular Interactions
Keith Chadwick, Brittany Nguyen, Mitulkumar A. Patel
This work describes the development of a novel method PETI – Predicting Efficacy Through Intermolecular Interactions − for predicting the heterogeneous crystallization. PETI was overall successful in predicting the most effective heterosurface for crystallization of two model organic compounds. Prediction made using PETI would be helpful to improve efficiency of the research and development involving crystallization on polymer heterosurfaces.
