Man-Keung Fung, and co-workers discuss a white organic light-emitting diode (OLED) based on a newly designed blue thermally activated delayed fluorescent (TADF) exciplex host. Using the exciplex as the host for two-color based phosphorescent white OLEDs provides super-high luminous efficacy and external quantum efficiency. This work provides a promising avenue to boost the development of low power-consumption applications in display and lighting market.
