A new blue-emitting Ce3+ activated K4SrSi3O9 phosphors for near-UV WLEDs exhibits an excellent thermal-stable feature in a large temperature region with high photoluminescent quantum yield. Herein, a predictive of the luminescence properties, energy-transfer mechanism, and thermal ionization in a promising light-conversion Ce3+-doped inorganic luminescence materials is provided.
