Bernal-stacked multilayer graphene has a tunable bandgap under external electric field. In article number 1700753, Kilwon Cho and co-workers demonstrate synthesis of Bernal-stacked multilayer graphene on Cu foil using chemical vapor deposition. Thin Ni film deposited on the backside of Cu foil gathers carbon atoms and supplies them to the frontside, resulting in formation of Bernal-stacked multilayer graphene.
