The chemical composition, structure, and morphology of neodymium and plutonium oxalates have been modified by adding a complexing agent (NTMP) in the precipitation medium. The Nd/Pu complexation has been evidenced by UV−visible spectroscopy and leads to sphere-like agglomerate precipitation instead of rod-like particles.
