Liquid Nicotine Tamed in Solid Forms by Cocrystallization

Pure nicotine is a liquid. We stabilized it in solid form by cocrystallization; three nicotine cocrystals have been designed by considering the molecular electrostatic potential characteristic. The structural role of coformers in driving cocrystallization is investigated by energy frameworks analyses.
