DOI: 10.1002/elps.201700351The cover picture shows a microfluidic device to investigate drug uptake by single cancer cells. The device is capable of isolating individual cells from a cell suspension into reaction chambers and exposing the cells to different concentrations of a target drug. The potential of the device was demonstrated by showing the increase of intracellular fluorescence intensity and nuclear localization of the fluorescent drug doxorubicin with increasing drug dose of single cancer cells.
