Liquid Manipulation: Stimuli-Responsive Bioinspired Materials for Controllable Liquid Manipulation: Principles, Fabrication, and Applications (Adv. Funct. Mater. 6/2018)
Kaikai Ma, John H. Xin, Yuanfeng Wang
The recent progress in stimuli-responsive liquid-manipulating materials and systems possessing bioinspired micro/nanostructures and surface chemistry is reviewed by John H. Xin and co-workers in article number 1705128. Like “a robot hand picking a liquid drop out of the sea”, these intelligent systems provide important ideas for future technologies manipulating both micro-liquids and large liquid bodies.
