Three two-/three-dimensional homochiral metal−organic frameworks with unique architectures and interesting topologies were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, TGA, spectroscopic methods, and X-ray diffraction analysis. More importantly, the coordination mode, hydrogen-bonding site, existence form, and charge of the amino acid-functionalized polycarboxylate chiral ligand can be controlled by the protonation of its amino group, which results in the structural diversity.
