A dense I1O3 hybrid porous coordination polymer (PCP), [Pb(H-BTMB)(DMF)], with open metal sites (OMSs) has been synthesized. It has a three-dimensional structure with micropores exhibiting selective adsorption toward CO2 gas over various other gas molecules such as N2, CH4, and C2H6. Moreover, it has a stable superhydrophobic surface even at high temperatures, with a contact angle of 156.4°.
