Mixed-Ligand LMOF Fluorosensors for Detection of Cr(VI) Oxyanions and Fe3+/Pd2+ Cations in Aqueous Media

A 3D luminescent Zn(II)/Cd(II)-based MOF has been successfully synthesized by versatile routes, which can act as a fluorescent probe toward selective and sensitive detection of chromium oxyanions and Fe3+/Pd2+ cations from different pools of anions/cations. Simple fluorescent-based test paper strips have been developed for reliable and visual detection of the mentioned analytes in practical applications.
