Happy 150th Birthday GDCh, with best wishes from Chemistry—A European Journal and ChemPubSoc Europe! To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh; German Chemical Society) we have put together a special issue that contains papers by top German research groups. The issue has been timed to appear in conjunction with the GDCh Wissenschaftsforum Chemie 2017 Jubiläumskongress “GDCh—150 Jahre” (WiFo2017; GDCh Scientific Forum Chemistry 2017—Anniversary Congress “GDCh—150 years”). The cover itself is a collage of past cover pictures of Chemistry—A European Journal published by many of the groups featured in this special issue. To find out more about the papers highlighted on this cover check out our WiFo countdown on twitter @ChemPubSocEurope #WiFo2017; the associated papers are free to read until the end of 2017.
