A floatable and 2D compact artificial-leaf system is reported by Kijung Yong and co-workers in article number 1702431. The unique design of the cell provides highly adaptable and versatile functioning of the system in various environments. The adjustable free space in the module enables the cell to float on water, and the single-face electrodes allow the system to operate in water-scarce conditions, such as shallow water.
