We present the synthesis of various uranium open frameworks utilizing slow diffusion methods at room temperature. The structural properties and topologies of these materials are described, and we illustrate that the glutarate linker assists in obtaining three-dimensional networks, while the rather rigid terephthalate derivatives restrict the connectivity of the uranyl unit to form one-dimensional and two-dimensional underlying network systems.
