(Abstracted from Anesth Analg, 124:169–78, 2017) This study’s aim was to review current medical literature on congenital central hypoventilation syndrome (CCHS), a sleep-disordered breathing, especially with regard to perioperative anesthetic techniques. This systematic review of 45 relevant articles sourced from the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, EMBASE, and MEDLINE was conducted until October 2015.
