The binary hybrid catalytic system (photosensitizer + TiO2/Re(I)) serves the first direct route from light-capturing by homogeneous photosensitization to heterogeneous catalytic site, showing efficient photocatalytic CO2 to CO conversion efficiency (a turnover number of >300 for 10 h).
