The composition complexity of polyoxocuprates (POCus), emerging by redirecting the Cu(OH)2 formation in solution, is showcased. The outlined structural concepts applied to POCus illustrate their intriguing relation to classical Lindqvist, Anderson–Evans, and Keggin POMs as well as noble-metal-based POMs, allowing them to build a new class of molecular materials that can be widely exploited in different branches of chemistry, from catalysis to magnetism research. For more details, see the Concept article by A. Kondinski and K. Yu. Monakhov on page 7841 ff.
