Two novel coordination polymers have been constructed from anionic triple-stranded {CoII4} helicates, which are are connected in 1 by sodium ions and in 2 by sodium and cobalt(II) ions. The magnetic behavior of 2 is dominated at low temperature by the single CoII ions that show slow relaxation of the magnetization.
