Facile one-pot solvothermal synthesis of porous transition metal mixed-oxides were demonstrated. The multiple transition metals were rapidly merged into the sub-10 nm nanocrystals, resulting in the self-assembled porous nanospheres. The catalytic activities of the resultant porous composite oxides on water-oxidation (oxygen-evolution) reaction were also investigated.
