This work deals with the formation, transmetalation, and selectivity studies of first-row transition-metal ions incorporated trinuclear triple-stranded side-by-side helicates using electrospray-ionization Fourier-transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (ESI-FTICR-MS), UV−vis spectroscopy, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies.
