Layered Crystal Structure, Color-Tunable Photoluminescence, and Excellent Thermal Stability of MgIn2P4O14 Phosphate-Based Phosphors

Based on crystal-structure analysis using powder XRD method, a novel phosphate host MgIn2P4O14 with rigid bonding networks and disordering cationic occupation was explored and determined, in which receptive Tm/Dy activators favoring energy transfer initiate the generation of single-component color-tunable and white-emitting phosphors with excellent TQ behavior.
